Group: FILM AND TELEVISION DIRECTING
The entrance examination includes the assessment of candidates' abilities, affinities and aptitude, knowledge and education, as well as the talent for film and television directing (visual narration).
The entrance exam includes three parts which may be eliminatory ones.
- Film screening; the written analysis of the shown film; general knowledge test; written solutions for one or two given tasks (finishing a given situation in 10 shots; creating an idea for a video advertisement in 5 shots).
- INTERVIEW, the oral presentation of the written portion of the entrance examination.
- Practical tasks – shooting a given situation at the Academy of Arts' TV studio and with the students of Departments of Camera and Acting as participants; another task is shooting a short documentary film in the field; the interview and oral presentation of these practical works.
