Who enrolls in dramaturgy?
Dramaturgy is intended for future students who have a penchant for writing, love reading, going to the theatre, and watching movies. Prospective students have the opportunity to learn how to shape their ideas into theater and radio dramas, or screenplays for film and television and to analyze what has already been written, recorded or staged.
Studies
Bachelor's studies last four years (8 semesters), while Master's studies last one year (two semesters). During these studies, students acquire competencies for independent
dramaturgical tasks in all media. In addition, they develop skills for editing and program creating, screenplay writing, and literary works adaptation and gain a broad education in the field of creative writing as well as theoretical, critical, and historical aspects of dramaturgical practice. Dramaturgy students master professional, practical, and theoretical knowledge in these fields and develop an indigenous creative attitude. They learn the historical development of theories and practices and adopt modern principles and methods of theater and film education.Шта послије
After completing the first cycle of studies, students can work in theater, television, radio, film, print media, cultural institutions, advertising, and other institutions and agencies. A bachelor in audio-visual art – a dramatist can create an original play, film, and television script or radio drama. They are also trained to cope with theater and film criticism, which makes them an artist and theater and film reviewers and functionally participate in institutions whose activities include professional cooperation with persons who have acquired practical and theoretical knowledge in the field of dramaturgy. After completing a Master’s in dramaturgy, dramatists can independently create various complex programs, write plays, screenplays, and adaptations of literary works.

Bachelor Studies
After Bachelor studies, i.e., first cycle, students get the title – bachelor in dramatic and audiovisual art - 240 ECTS, a dramatist.

Evidence of preferenceCandidates are required to submit their play (published or unpublished) or screenplay for a feature film (TV or documentary) or radio drama (for children or adults), or theoretical work in the field of theater or film dramaturgy (obligatory in the official languages of Bosnia and Herzegovina, printed in triplicate). Also, they must submit a motivation letter and a short biography.

Entrance exam
Entrance exam consists of three parts.
First partа) A written part – the tests includes thirty questions on general knowledge and drama, theater and theater. Duration: 45 minutes.
b) ) A film screening and the written analysis of the shown film. Duration 60 minutes. We evaluate how the topic is develop, literacy, style, and personal attitude of the candidate.
c) Psycho test, psychophysical ability test.
Second partа) Writing a dramatic scene on a given topic in a particular medium of the candidate's own choice (stage, radio, TV or film)
Having read and analysed all the works, the Committee selects the candidates entitled to access the second part of the exam.
Third part
Oral examination includes a face-to-face interview between candidates and the Committee considering candidates' written part of the exam, general ability test, knowledge check (domestic and world drama and film) as well as candidates' familiarity with theater, art and literature.

Ranking list and enrollment
The right to be presented on the ranking list is achieved by the candidate who has passed the entrance exam which estimates the skills and talents of candidates (aptitude test) and which is determined by the Academy of Arts.
The ranking list of the candidates for the enrolment in this art programme is determined according to:- General success achieved in secondary education (success in all subjects and grades of a four-year high school)
- Results achieved in the entrance exam or the aptitude test
The number of points achieved on the basis of general success is obtained by multiplying the average grade in all subjects of a four-year high school by the number 10 (ten)
At the entrance exam or aptitude test, the candidate can achieve from 0 (zero) to 50 (fifty) points. According to both criteria, it is possible to achieve a maximum of 100 (hundred) points. Candidates who did not achieve more than 15 points in the entrance exam are not eligible for enrollment.

After successfully completing the Master studies and defending the final thesis, the title of Master in Dramaturgy is obtained - 300 ECTS.

Entrance exam
The master's programme in dramaturgy aims to develop and create a long-term text-based art project focusing on performance texts. A performance text means a wide range of textual forms such as dramatic and post-dramatic texts, performance texts, screenplays for series, screenplays for films, various formats of fiction and self-fiction intended for performance or reading aloud and live. It also includes scripts for video works, librettos, radio drama, texts for sound and visual installations, texts for contemporary music and dance projects, adaptation of other literary forms into performances, and adaptation and 'translation' of various artistic non-artistic content into textual ones.
For the entrance exam, it is necessary to enclose the concept or exposition of a long-term project based on the text and the biography of the candidate and a motivation letter in which the expectations from the study program are expressed.Consultation

Rank list and enrollment
The right to be ranked on a unique ranking list is attained by a candidate who has passed the aptitude test. The Academy determines the order of candidates who have passed the entrance exam according to the number of total points achieved.
The ranking list of candidates for the enrollment in the study program of the first year of the second cycle of studies is determined on the basis of:- General success achieved during the first cycle of studies (average grade during studies)
- The results obtained in the entrance examination or the aptitude test
The number of points achieved on the basis of success in the first cycle of studies is obtained by multiplying the average grade by the number 5 (five).
