Chamber Music

Who enrolls in this department?
This Department is intended for the students who want to broaden their knowledge in the field of Chamber Music by means of diverse and rich repertoire and through cooperation with other players and opera singers. Thus they gain skills that are fairly different from those of instrumentalists.
Graduate students of the first or second cycle of studies in instrumental fields, solo singing and chamber music can apply for master's or doctoral studies in chamber music.Studies
During the four-year bachelor's studies and one-year master's studies, we focus on chamber ensembles and repertoire provided for both study cycles. We design classes to expand students' knowledge by raising their technical and interpretive level of playing an instrument, especially chamber music. The theoretical part of the studies is related to the study of the development of chamber music through the epochs employing analyses of the repertoire compositions and teaching methods. Upon completing any cycle, we train our students for further work and performance of the most complex music pieces in the field of chamber music.
What after studies?
As the curriculum is pretty diverse and thoroughly designed, after completing master's and doctoral studies, our students can find jobs in numerous sectors, in the pedagogical field, and as solo careerists. In the pedagogical area, we train our students to work with different chamber ensembles at varying levels of education, primary, secondary, and higher, providing excellent opportunities for future employment.
